Thank you for the extensive article. The one question that I can’t seem to find an answer to anywhere is the following. I have business manager setup for my agency – I have access to a client’s page through business manager. The client doesn’t have an ad account, but wants me to run ads for them. We want to setup an ad account for them that’s billed to OUR agency payment method. I don’t see an option to create a new ad account to run ads for this client under my business manager. He’s non-technical and doesn’t know or want to setup an ad account under his personal FB login, so we can’t “request access” or “claim” an account that doesn’t exist. Yet the “create new” option under my business manager forces me to select “advertising on behalf of” … with only my agency name in the drop down as an option … so I don’t think this is the way to go since I’m not advertising on behalf of myself – I’m advertising on behalf of his business. However I am using the sign up form as well with the mailchimp API and I added the Lead and Complete registration aspects to the pixel in the header. They are firing as the chrome addon shows that however the sign up form isnt triggering as a sign up or registration complete. I am not sure if I am explain my problem well. So in business manage and the pixel I can see people visiting my site. But when they sign up the value for lead or complete registration is still 0. Any ideas why this occurs? There are however some technical difficulties as the url is part of the creative not of the whole ads (technical api stuff) so it’d be pretty easy for us to insert in the Google Analytics utm code which creative has been clicked (pic 1, Title 2, etc.) but it gets pretty complex to insert there informations about the targeting (Us, Male, 18-24).
